ADVENT: A SEASON OF GREAT EXPECTATION (FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT YEAR C) 2024

@purifyingword @FrChineduEnuh

This Sunday marks the beginning of the Advent Season, the beginning of the Church’s liturgical Year C. Advent is a time of great expectation. The readings will constantly be calling our minds back to consider the ancient promises of God to the ancient people of Israel and to see how they are being fulfilled in Christ. This season helps us to prepare for Christmas as we remember the first coming of Christ in the flesh when he came to deal with sin. However, this contemplation immediately invites us to look towards the future with great expectation and confidence for the One who comes in glory at the end of our lives. Find out more as you listen to this inspiring reflection. Have a Graceful Advent Season.
